The Big Book of American Trivia by J. Stephen Lang

5 out of 5 stars
Are you a history buff? Or perhaps you just like  trivia.

Well, if you're fan of trivia and/or American history, the new, expanded edition of The Big Book of American Trivia is for you! This compilation is filled with so many questions that I had to wonder how much one could possibly know to actually get them all right.

The day I received this book I pulled it out and started using it on my family. We had so much fun with this. I will say, however, that I noticed those who haven't yet completed high school found the questions a bit challenging.

This book is divided into several manageable sections--which makes it great since there is no index. If I want to stump someone with questions on sites and places within the United States, then I just go to the section titled So Many Sites to See. If I want to be more specific and stump them on capitols, then I'd go to the sub-section titled Capitols: Those State-ly Buildings.

You'll find many various topics, such  as leisure in America, entertainment, music in America, Rivers, memorials, presidents, and so much more.

You can use this book time and time again--of course, there are so many questions inside this book that it might take you awhile before you stumble upon one that you haven't asked already.

I highly recommend The Big Book of American Trivia. This book is ideal for history teachers, history buffs, families, and people who travel a lot, as it will give them something to do on their long trips.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Tyndale Publishers in exchange for an honest review.
