I know my schedule off to the side claims that you can expect a Bible musing from me about once a week. Truth is, I've become rather slack in those postings. Why? Well, for some reason, writing a spiritually-related post that covers a lot of depth can somehow suck the energy right out of a person.
I don't know why it's different from any other writing, but somehow it is.
Well, the hiatus is over, and those postings are coming back in full force. I've decided to do something slightly different, though. The Bible musings will now involve an entire study!
A few years ago, when God specifically instructed me to stop writing fiction, He laid it in my heart to write a study on the Kings of Judah. I never once had the intention of seeking publication for this study, though one may have thought so with the way I edited and researched for it.
Since this study is collecting dust, I've decided to go ahead and share it with all of you!

The Kings of Judah is a study that delves into the monarchy of Israel. Starting with the end of the Judges, moving toward the reigns of David and Solomon, then exploring the kings who reigned during the Divided Kingdom, and ending toward the exiled years of captivity this study pulls apart the Scripture to unlock the fullest meaning and understanding of the culture and spiritual struggles the kings dealt with. Packed with life application, readers today can glean lessons from these kings. Not only does this study explore the kings who reigned, but it sets up for the final moments of this study when we get to explore the heritage of Jesus Christ and the promises He fulfilled. Last and not least, we will look at His second coming and the moment He is crowned!
